AiDAM is built on a simple principle: your data belongs to you. We collect the minimum necessary to respond to your enquiry. We do not sell data, profile visitors, or use advertising trackers of any kind.

Who we are

AiDAM (AI for Dignity, Autonomy and Mattering) is a pre-incorporation research and development project based in Genoa, Italy, building a governed conversational AI device for older adults. Incorporation as a Società Benefit (public benefit company) is planned.

What data this website collects

This website collects personal data only when you voluntarily submit the contact form. The data collected is:

Your name
Your email address
Your category (for example: older adult, family member, care home, researcher, public authority)
Any message you choose to include

We do not collect any other personal data. We do not use cookies, analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or any third-party tracking technology on this website. No data is collected by simply visiting the site.

Why we collect it

The lawful basis for processing your contact form submission is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): you have actively contacted us to request information or express interest in AiDAM. We process the data solely to respond to your enquiry and to keep a record of interest by stakeholder type for research and product development planning purposes.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry directly
To understand which stakeholder groups are interested in AiDAM (aggregated, not individual profiling)
To contact you if and when a pilot opportunity relevant to your interest becomes available, if you have indicated interest in participating

We will not send unsolicited marketing communications. We will not share your data with any third party for commercial purposes. We will not use your data to profile you or make automated decisions about you.

Who has access to your data

Your contact form submissions are received directly by the AiDAM team. Contact form infrastructure is provided by Netlify (Netlify, Inc., 44 Montgomery Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA), which processes form submissions on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Netlify's privacy policy is available at netlify.com/privacy.

No other third party has access to your personal data.

How long we keep it

We retain contact form submissions for up to 24 months, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is earlier. If you become a pilot participant, a separate consent and data retention agreement will apply at that point.

Your rights under GDPR

As a data subject under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Rectify any inaccurate data
Erase your data (the right to be forgotten)
Restrict or object to our processing
Data portability , receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, at garanteprivacy.it.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies of any kind. No tracking, no analytics, no advertising. If this changes, this policy will be updated and a cookie notice will be displayed before any cookie is set.

Changes to this policy

As AiDAM develops from a website into a product, this policy will be updated to reflect any new data processing activities. The date at the top of this page will always show when it was last revised. We will not retroactively reduce your rights without notice.
